Nebraska Theatre Caravan to perform A Christmas Carol at Cowley College
A beloved theatrical tradition since 1979, the Nebraska Theatre Caravan
production of Charles Dickens’ Family Holiday Classic A Christmas
Carol will take place Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. inside Cowley College’s
Robert Brown Theatre.
A Christmas Carol has delighted thousands of audience members with a staging of the story that captures the true heart and soul of the Christmas holiday.
Both the chilling poverty and luxurious wealth of the period serve as a thrilling backdrop to the staged production, which utilizes music, dance and drama to weave the spellbinding fable of a man who is given the rarest of gifts, the chance to change his life and to find his heart.
Since its inception the Nebraska Theatre Caravan has produced 90 fully mounted productions, many of which were new works, and has played to 160 Nebraska communities and numerous others across the nation. The national tour of A Christmas Carol has performed in over 600 cities in 49 states and four Canadian provinces.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, and $8 for students. Tickets are sold at the Cowley College Bookstore from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number to the Bookstore is (620) 441-5277.
