Flickinger's work to be displayed at Burford Center for the Arts
Putting his talent on display, Cowley College art instructor,
Mark Flickinger, will have his artwork featured Thursday, Jan. 15-Feb.

An opening reception with Flickinger will take place Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Flickinger will also hold a portrait demonstration Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend as Flickinger will feature plein air works, portraits, and studies that will be available for purchase.
The exhibit is a presentation of the Arkansas City Area Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Kansas Arts Commission.
Flickinger has shown his work in many galleries across the country, including Axis in Philadelphia, Browns in Boise, Idaho and Jay-Addington in Chicago, as well as having solo exhibitions at Exhibit A Gallery in Savannah GA.
He also shows currently at American Legacy in Kansas City and locally over the years at Clayton Staples, Trish Higgins and Fiber Arts. His paintings are included in many private public collections across America and abroad.
The Governor of Kansas office purchased Flickinger’s oil painting titled “Cedars and Snow”. Along with the painting being displayed in the Governor’s mansion, the painting was used as the 2007 Christmas card, which the Governor’s Office sent out to more than 28,000 homes worldwide.
