Oklahoma high school students tour Cowley campus
Through an articulation agreement with High Plains Technology Center
in Woodward, Okla., juniors and seniors from Oklahoma high schools
that are interested in earning a technical certificate from High Plains
Technical College and then transfer to Cowley College to earn an associate’s
degree had an opportunity to tour the Cowley College campus in Arkansas
City on Wednesday.
The students were accompanied by Ben Schears, Cowley College’s executive director of enrollment and outreach services, and Amber Riley, compliance coordinator for High Plains Technology Center.
“The tour went very good, we had a few students that already said they will be coming to Cowley in the fall,” Schears said. “They were a great group of kids, really fun and out going.”
