CTE department students tour Pittsburg State campus
With Cowley College working with Pittsburg State University on several
degree transfer opportunities, 17 Cowley students recently toured the
The students, which were joined by Cowley nondestructive testing instructor Joe Clasen and welding instructor Bob Moffatt, had an opportunity to tour Pittsburg State University’s Career and Technical Education Department and watch demonstrations on each area of the school’s department.
“The main goal of the trip was to expose the students to the CTE department that Pittsburg State has and what programs that we are working with them on for degree transfer opportunities,” Clasen said.
The degree transfer opportunities that Cowley College offers with Pittsburg State are, Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, Technical Teacher Education, and Technical Management.
