Cowley College students attend PBL Fall Leadership Conference
Cowley College students attended the Kansas Phi Beta Lambda Fall Leadership
conference Saturday at Central Christian College in McPherson.
Students listened to guest speaker, Ron Hagan, with the Federal Bureau
of Investigation talk about Fraud, Schemes & Scoundrels within the
Business World. Other workshops were “The Impression You Make” and “What
is Phi beta Lambda.” A variety of other activities were held to
develop networking skills with PBL members from across the state of Kansas.
Elizabeth Smith, sophomore accounting major, serves as treasurer for
the PBL State Board.
Other colleges participating were: Butler Community College, Colby Community
College, Central Christian College, Emporia State University, Kansas
State University, and Labette Community College.
