McCutcheon to perform concert on Nov. 10
Grammy nominated performer John McCutcheon will perform at Cowley College’s
Robert Brown Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
McCutcheon has made 31 albums and has received six Grammy nominations. He has also been the recipient of multiple Parent’s Choice and American Library Association awards.
He is regarded as a master of the hammered dulcimer, and is also proficient on many other instruments including guitar, banjo, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, fiddle, and Jew's harp.
He has written acclaimed children’s books, published songbook compilations, and recorded spoken-word albums.
McCutcheon tells stories of ordinary people in his songs with the hopes his audience can recognize themselves in his music.
Tickets can be purchased from Cowley College’s Endowment Association and are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Cowley College Endowment members will be admitted free.
