Students from far and wide take part in Cowley's Fall Senior Day

Senior DayMore than 250 high school seniors from across Kansas and Oklahoma took to Cowley College’s Arkansas City campus Tuesday as part of the school’s Fall Senior Day.

Along with a campus tour, students were given a chance to win iPods by answering trivia questions about the college. They were then treated to a special repeat performance by the winners of Cowley’s “Puttin on the Hits” contest, and watched a video of current Cowley students talking about the benefits of coming to Cowley.

Members of the many campus organizations were on hand to provide the students with information, while the students also got an opportunity to meet instructors in the different academic programs.

Lunch was then provided in the Brown Center’s Earle N. Wright Community Room prior to the conclusion of the event.

Along with the 250 high school seniors, close to 50 parents shared in the day’s activities.

“It was a good turnout, all the kids really seemed to enjoy it,” said Cowley college admissions director Shayla McDonald.
