Composition I class speaks to marketing team
Working on recruitment ideas for Cowley College, students in Julie Kratt’s
Composition I class took the project an additional step by presenting
their ideas at the Marketing Team meeting on Thursday.
Participants in the class had 30 minutes to come up with ideas on how to attract students to Cowley College or how to keep them here. The students came up with many interesting possibilities.
“The activity showed many areas where the marketing team is already doing well, and I hope it inspired some new plans of action,” Kratt said. “I so appreciate Sue Saia's support for this project as well as the entire marketing team's openness to our students. My favorite part of this project was having our students' opinions and ideas validated; students truly have a voice at Cowley.”
Following the meeting, members of the Marketing Team went to the Composition I class to observe classroom presentations.
The students who presented to the marketing team were as follows: Paige Boyer, Rachel Ford, Mitch Hoover, Tara Isakson, Molly Jackson, Bernard Kamwa, Stephen Kelch, Cosette Marcotte, Josh Metzinger, Lindsay Newman, Randon Ridling, Chance Ross, Laela Williamson, and Torri Williamson.
The students who presented in class were Joanna Carson, Aubrey Denney, Sabra Downs, Emmanuel Espinoza, Phil Gueverra, Deena Levy, Daniel McNerny, Clint Neal, Rachael Noll, Madison Owens, Cody Parris-Miller, Steven Randolph, and Mary Jane Roberts.
