Fall, Clark named Homecoming king and queen


Charles Fall and Keshia ClarkHonored for their friendly and positive personalities, Charles Fall and Keshia Clark were named Cowley College’s Homecoming king and queen during halftime of the Tiger men’s basketball game vs. Johnson County on Wednesday at W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Fall is a political science major from Staten Island, N.Y. He is a Redshirt member of the Tiger men’s Basketball team and President of the Young Democrats.

Clark is a nursing major from Arkansas City. She is a member of the Lady Tiger volleyball team, which placed second at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Last year’s king and queen, Willy Lucero and Amy Slane, were on hand to pass on their crowns.

Madeline Shepard served as the flower girl and Spencer MacLaughlin handled the duties of the crown bearer.

The Kickin’ it at Cowley country style theme featured the coronation and Homecoming dance at the Cowley College recreation building, following the conclusion of the Tiger men’s basketball game.

Queen finalists were:
Keshia Clark, Erin Burroughs, Nicole Hoerschgen, Robin Ray, and Ashley Spencer.

King finalists were:
Charles Fall, Mitch Hoover, Clinton Haas, B.J. Misialek, and Lance Russell.
