Cowley selects 2010-2011 ambassadors


Fifteen students have been selected to represent Cowley College as Student Ambassadors for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Admissions representative Lory West said the 15 students were chosen from 56 students nominated.

“The Student Ambassadors play a critical role in the admissions office and we couldn’t have the success that we do without them,” West said. “We are excited to welcome in the new student ambassadors, they are truly the best of the best.”

Ambassadors are required to work two hours per week in the Admissions Office, performing various tasks, including giving campus tours, or making photocopies. They also are required to work special events such as New Student Orientation, Senior Day, Phone-a-Thon, and Principal-Counselor Day.

Students chosen for the 2010-2011 academic year are listed in alphabetical order. Milissa Crawford, Brooke Cullum, Peter Fairchild, Shaelynn French, Erin Griffiths, Anne Harmon, Ashlee Henning, Jamison Lorg, Jordan Lukert, Starr McLeod, Kelsey Patterson, Kylie Schell, Jade Sparks, Alyssa Struble, and Jordan Williams.
