Hypnotist entertains students with back to school performance
Performing in front of a packed house Thursday night at Cowley College’s Robert Brown Theatre, comedy hypnotist, Joshua Seth, kept the audience laughing throughout the evening.
With the first day of classes in the books, Seth helped students unwind by getting everyone involved with his entertaining breathing exercises and mind tricks. He capped the evening by having male participants on stage believe they were giving birth.
“He was different than any hypnotist we have had here before,” director of student life, Kristi Shaw said. “He had innovative things and his energy level was great. He connected really well with the kids.”
Seth voiced several well-known cartoon characters and worked as a magician prior to focusing on his career as a hypnotist. He is also the author of an upcoming book on the use of hypnosis for weight loss.
