Vespers Concert puts people in the holiday spirit


Vespers ConcertPerforming songs people treasure this time of year, the Cowley College Concert Choir treated audience members to an afternoon of holiday music during the annual Christmas Vespers Concert held Sunday in the Robert Brown Theatre.

Led by vocal director Connie Donatelli and accompanied by Gloria Tham on piano, the Concert Choir sang Angel’s We’ve Heard on High, He is Born, Carol of the Drum (Little Drummer Boy), Still, Still, Still, and the First Noel. They also performed traditional Christmas carols.

In keeping with the tradition of the Vespers Concert, the Concert Choir ended the concert with a candlelight performance.

A reception was held in the Earle N. Wright Community Room following the concert.
