Cowley enrollment up on main campus

 

Fall semester enrollment at Cowley College’s main campus in Arkansas City saw a increase over the same period a year ago, according to figures released by the Registrar’s Office.

Enrollment on the main campus increased 35 full-time students over fall 2009, from 1,117 to 1,152. Daytime classes increased by 32 FTE, while evening class enrollment jumped 3 FTE.

On the official reporting date of Sept. 20, there was a registered total of 4,486 students for the fall term. A total of 1,142 Cowley County residents are registered for classes at the college.

Overall full-time enrollment at the college is up 21.2 percent.
