Vespers puts audience in the Christmas spirit

Performing Christmas Carols and songs people treasure this time of year, the Cowley College Concert VespersChoir treated audience members to an afternoon of holiday music during the annual Christmas Vespers Concert held Sunday in the Robert Brown Theatre.

Led by vocal director Connie Donatelli and accompanied by Gloria Tham on piano, the Concert Choir sang “Caroling, Caroling”, “Carol of the Bells”, “Hark! The Angels Sing!”, “Do You Hear What I hear?, “Good Christians All, Rejoice!”, “I Wonder as I Wander”, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”,  and closed with a candlelight performance  of “Silent Night” with members of the audience. They also performed traditional Christmas carols.

The Cowley College Endowment Association put on the reception in the Earle N. Wright Community Room following the concert. Members of the Cowley College Singers performed during the reception.
