Open forums held to gather information in presidential search

forumIn the search for a new president of Cowley College, the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) assisted the school in conducting a pair of public open forums Tuesday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.

Pictured is John Steinecke, ACCT Search Consultant, who facilitated the forums. The ACCT has a long and successful history of conducting national presidential searches and their expertise, assistance and resources will be of great value to Cowley College.

The two public open forums are viewed as a significant step in the process of the presidential search. The forums consisted of wide-ranging discussion about the qualities and qualifications desired in a new president. Steinecke will use the comments and suggestions he obtained during the open forums to create a Presidential profile.

Those unable to attend either of the two forums can contact Steinecke at to share your thoughts on what information should be included in the presidential profile.
