Eight Cowley students qualify for National PBL Leadership Conference


PBLParticipating in the Kansas Phi Beta Lambda 62nd annual State Leadership Conference at Emporia State University, eight of Cowley College’s 11 PBL students in attendance qualified to attend the National PBL Leadership Conference to be held in Anaheim, CA., June 22-June 27. 

Sarah Mathews, Cowley College PBL advisors is proud of the PBL member’s accomplishments. 

“We have a great PBL year and it was nice to relax rather than hosting this year,” Mathews said. “I am extremely proud of our students and their accomplishments and we are all very excited to attend the National conference in California. I am proud to have each of the members represent our local chapter.”

Other colleges participating at the 62nd annual State Leadership Conference were: Butler Community College, Central Christian College of McPherson, Colby Community College, Emporia State University, Labette Community College, Sterling College, Fort Hays State University, Flint Hills Technical College and Brown Mackie College.
