25th Mr. Cinderfella Pageant April 25 at Cowley


Enjoy an evening of entertainment, complete with Miss Kansas, for only $2 when Cowley College presents the 25th Annual Mr. Cinderfella Pageant April 25 in the Robert Brown Theatre inside the Brown Center.

Cowley College freshman and sophomore males will participate in the 25th annual Mr. Cinderfella Pageant, which will begin at 7 p.m.

Contestants include:

  • Ken Stark

  • Seth Butler
  • Cody Hollister

  • Cyruss Tasker

Tickets may be purchased at the Humanities Department Office, lower level of the Brown Center, or at the door.

Sloane Lewis, who was crowned Miss Kansas 2012, will continue in the tradition of Mr. Cinderfella emcees and host the event this year. Lewis is from Norwich and was named to the University of Kansas Dean’s Honor Roll in Fall 2011. She also received the Alpha Chi Omega Scholastic Achievement Award in Fall 2011 and was the Vice President/Recruitment Chair of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

She has also served as a Volunteer Program coordinator for StopGap, Inc., an organization that educates foster children about the transition from foster care to adulthood. Her platform is Empowering At-Risk Youth.

The contestants will compete in beach/leisure wear, talent, and eveningwear. Three judges, not announced until the night of the show, will rate each contestant. The man with the most points at the end of the night is crowned Mr. Cinderfella. Last year’s winner was Charles Ross.
