Students from Arkansas City High School, Ark City Christian Academy, Central-Burden High School, Wellington High School, and Winfield High School got to see hands on demonstrations from Cowley College’s Career and Technical Education Department.

“It was great to show students what they will be doing if they come to school here and to get them more excited about technical careers,” Lory West, admissions director said.

Bob Moffatt, Jim Ailey, Joe Clasen, Daniel Higdon, Ricky Squires, and Beverly Frank were among the Cowley employees showcasing their programs, while Slade Griffiths, Cowley College vice president of academic affairs, took time to address the students.

“The students learned a lot and got a better grasp of what Cowley’s Career and Technical Education Department has to offer,” West said.

Following the classroom demonstrations lunch was provided by Great Western Dining.
