Cowley College to conduct Senior Day on Nov. 14


Senior DayProviding high school seniors with an opportunity to see up close why Cowley College is the right place for them to start their college careers, the school’s main campus in Arkansas City will hold its annual Senior Day event on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Check-in for the day will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Brown Center.

Sessions will be available for students to attend in the following areas: scholarships, financial aid, admissions, student life, campus tours and a parent session as well as an all college activities, academic, athletic and student life fair in the gym with lunch and giveaways wrapping up they day.

Lory West, Cowley College admissions director, is looking forward to the event.

“Senior day is a great way for students to get information and talk to faculty and staff about what they are interested in being a part of at Cowley, whether it is academics, athletics, scholarships or student life we showcase what we have to offer in one convenient day,” West said.

High school seniors from Kansas and Oklahoma are expected to take part in Senior Day.

“It is always rewarding to put on such a beneficial day for students and have the opportunity to make an impact on their decision to attend Cowley and their future,” West said.
