Academic Excellence on display at Cowley

Cowley College hosted the state Academic Excellence Challenge Snow Bowl Competition on Saturday. There were 15 teams competing, with eight Kansas Community Colleges and two Oklahoma Community Colleges participating.

The 73 individuals that participated were impressed with the campus.

“Many thanks to Jack McVey and the custodial crew for the fantastic job they did in assisting with the set-up and clean-up of Webb Brown before and after the event,” said AEC sponsor Bev Grunder. “A special thank you to Chris Mayer, who served as a moderator; Marvis Gaddie, Sarah Mathews, and student, Craig Cropek, who were scorekeepers; and Robert Rogers and the folks with Great Western Dining for the pizza/hamburger buffet lunch.”

Cowley had two teams participating.  Team A was 11th and Team B was 15th.
