12 Cowley students qualify to attend National PBL Leadership Conference



Participating in the Kansas Phi Beta Lambda 63rd annual State Leadership Conference held at Cowley College, 12 of Cowley College’s 14 PBL students in attendance qualified to attend the National PBL Leadership Conference to be held in Nashville, TN. , June 22-27. 

Sarah Mathews, Cowley College PBL advisor, is extremely proud of the PBL members accomplishments. 
“We have had a great PBL year and it was a pleasure to host the event,” Mathews said. “I am thankful to the community and college employees who volunteered to help with the event. I am extremely proud of our students and their accomplishments and we are all very excited to attend the national conference in Nashville. I am proud to have each of the members represent our Local chapter.”

Other colleges participating at the 63rd annual State Leadership Conference were: Butler Community College, Central Christian College of McPherson, Colby Community College, Emporia State University, Labette Community College, Sterling College, Fort Hays State University, Flint Hills Technical College and the University of Kansas.
