Students from far and wide take part in Senior Day at Cowley College


Senior DaySeniors from across Kansas and Oklahoma took part in Cowley College’s Fall Senior Day held Wednesday on the school’s main campus in Arkansas City. A total of 210 students and parents took part in the day.

Students were given an opportunity to choose from breakout sessions, featuring information about financial aid, scholarships, admissions, student life, campus tours as well as an all college activities , academic, athletic and student life fair inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Information was available from over 40 different organizations/areas including all the club/activity sponsors, academic departments, athletic coaches and student life staff.

Cowley College admissions representative Krystle Nies praised the work done by Cowley faculty and staff as well as the school’s Student Ambassadors.

“We are very thankful for everyone’s teamwork,” Nies said. “The day went very smooth, students seemed excited, and had many good compliments.”

Great Western Dining provided lunch for the students and their parents in the Brown Center’s Earle N. Wright Community Room.
