Cowley College students in the Oscar Kimmell dormitory recently decided to select several children from the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Through the Angel Tree program, gifts are provided to children in need who would otherwise be left out on Christmas.

The students donated over $230 to the cause and were able to buy each child a bike, plus other items on their wish lists.

“I am so proud of my kids; they really stepped up to the plate,” Oscar Kimmel dorm manager Peg Williams said. “They truly demonstrated what the Christmas holidays represent; giving to those who are not as fortunate as they are.”
