More than 90 people attend Junior Day

Junior DayA total of 75 students and 17 parents attended Cowley College’s annual Junior Day on Wednesday, April 8.

The students were given Student Service information on admissions, scholarships, housing, clubs/organizations and more.

Campus tours led by Cowley Student Ambassadors included Game of Life cards which informed students of different college scenarios. Prospective students also had an opportunity to watch a testimonial video made by Cowley College students Avery Osen, Holly Landis, and Caroline Fulbright.

“The video was awesome!” director of admissions Marcus Hicks said. “It showed future students what Cowley is all about.”

Great Western Dining provided lunch. During lunch students had the chance to win prizes by answering trivia questions about Cowley College.

The day concluded with the students playing dodge ball with Cowley’s Student Ambassadors.

“The students seemed to have a lot of fun,” Hicks said. “I hope to see them back for future events and to enroll.”

Hicks thanked admissions representatives Jessica McIver and Mike Rosales with helping make the event a success.

The college will now prepare for Career and Technical Education Day at the school’s Mulvane Center on Thursday, April 9.
