Student work to be on display at Life: Through Words and Lens

Life: Through Words and Lens is a compilation of works from digital photography, communications practicum, creative and script writing students. This showcase comes together at the end of each semester as a demonstration of each student's portfolio of works broken down by area of study. This semester’s event will take place Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.

Students in the various classes invite friends, family, coworkers, faculty, staff and the community to come to the Wright Room for an evening of reading, listening and looking at artwork, poetry and films.

It allows the public the prospect of scoping out a potential class for personal or professional development and business managers get a sneak peek at the talent available locally for internships and job openings. Members of the community who are interested in learning more about photography, poetry/creative writing and/or video editing can enroll in a class to beef up their skills without needing to pursue a degree.

Plan to attend this wonderful evening on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wright Room.
