Cowley honors retirees


Terri HutchinsonCowley College took time to honor nine upcoming retirees with a reception Monday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.


The nine retirees have a combined 170 years of service and dedication to Cowley College. Each retiree had a presenter at the reception and then had an opportunity to speak.


Linda Kreutzer, Director of Human Resources, presented each retiree with a gift along with a customized limestone rock.


Cowley College interim president Tony Crouch congratulated the retirees and thanked them for their years of service.


“I appreciate what each of you has done for Cowley College,” Crouch said. “There is something special about every one of you.”


Retirees honored on Monday and their presenters were:

  • Connie Donatelli, vocal music director – presenter Josh Fleig
  • Dejon Ewing, Humanities instructor – presenter Rhoda MacLaughlin
  • Slade Griffiths, vice president of academic affairs – presenter Marlys Cervantes
  • Mike Fell, art instructor – presenter Mark Flickinger
  • Terri Hutchinson, admissions secretary – presenter Ben Schears
  • Bev Manuszak, Student Support Services part-time counselor - presenter Jason O’Toole
  • Julie Perdue, secretary in the Registrar’s Office – presenter Devin Graves
  • Glen Sheets, automotive instructor – Joe Clasen
  • Kathy Witte, TRIO program coordinator – presenter Rhoda MacLaughlin
