Cowley College awards scholarships for Fall 2015

 

Cowley College awards additional scholarships for Fall 2015 to students from eight regional high schools.

Derby High School:
Erin James, daughter of Jay and Diane James, is the recipient of a Hall of Scholars Endowment Scholarship. At Derby, she was involved in martial arts, clay wheel, and clay sculpt. She is undecided on a major.

Rose Hill High School:
Victoria McElroy, daughter of Robert and Gail McElroy, is the recipient of a Carpenter and Vickers Endowment Scholarship. At Rose Hill, she participated in the Colorguard, choir, musicals and plays. She received a “1” rating at state solo for two years and plans to major in science.

Lansing High School: Annette Whiteman, daughter of Ernie Simmons and Lenora Mack, is the recipient of a Endowment Scholarship. She plans to major in pre-medicine.

Claude High School:
Kahlee Odom, daughter of Russell and Jennifer Odom, is the recipient of a Carpenter and Vickers Scholarship. At Claude, she was involved in a one act play. She plans to major in cosmetology.

Cleveland High School:
Aaron Harrison, son of CaSonya Burton, is the recipient of a Paul and Dorothy Johnson Endowment Scholarship. At Cleveland, he participated in football. He plans to major in sports management.

Wichita North High School:
Brianna Vann, daughter of William and Michelle Vann, is the recipient of a Hall of Scholars Scholarship. At Wichita North, she participated in softball, Student Council, AVID, Young Life, NULITES, TRIO, and was the basketball team manager. She was a member of the Honor Roll and plans to major in pre-physical therapy.

Bishop Carroll High School:
Michael Hubbell II, son of Mike and Susan Hubbell, is the recipient of a Paton Wholesale Vending Scholarship. He plans to major in engineering.

Newkirk (OK) High School:
Ethan Collins, son of Markesha Collins, is the recipient of a Donald and Wilda Patterson Endowment Scholarship. At Newkirk, he was involved in football, track, and drama. He plans to major in computer science.
