Students take part in Senior Day

Senior DaySeniors from as far away as Shawnee Mission, KS and Covington, Oklahoma took part in Cowley College’s Fall Senior Day held Wednesday on the school’s main campus in Arkansas City. Close to 200 students took part in the event.

Students were given an opportunity to choose from breakout sessions, featuring information about financial aid, scholarships, admissions, student life, campus tours as well as an all college activities, academic, athletic and student life fair inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Information was available from 40 different organizations/areas including all the club/activity sponsors, academic departments, athletic coaches and student life staff.

Cowley College admissions representative Mike Rosales praised the work done by Cowley faculty and staff as well as the school’s Student Ambassadors.

“We thank everyone on campus that helped make the event a success,” Rosales said. “We got great feedback and questions from the students and had a lot of them say they can’t wait to make this their home.”

Great Western Dining provided lunch for the students and their parents in the Brown Center’s Earle N. Wright Community Room.
