Students attend Academic Achievement Scholarship Award Night


Students attend Academic Achievement Scholarship Award NightKansas high school seniors offered Academic Scholarships from Cowley College (ACT, Presidential, Dean and Trustee) attended the Academic Achievement Scholarship Award Night held Wednesday inside Cowley College’s W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Eighteen students and their parents attended the event. The students had an opportunity to meet with Cowley College vice president of academic affairs Dr. Harold Arnett, sign their scholarship and take a picture.

Other areas of the college represented were Housing, Scholarships, Impact, Student Senate, Financial Aid, Humanities, Intramurals, and Academic Excellence Challenge team. Housing received eight Early Bird registrations and Impact received two applications.

Cowley College president Dr. Dennis C. Rittle made a video for the students in his absence, while Dr. Arnett and executive director of enrollment management Josh Cobble spoke about being a Tiger, academics and enrollment for summer and fall.
