Large turnout for blood drive at Cowley College

Large turnout for blood drive at Cowley CollegeCowley College had a large number of individuals donate blood during the annual American Red Cross blood drive held Thursday, January 25 in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.

According to Cowley College Health Services Coordinator Lea Newman this represented the most donors (52) and units of usable blood (43) collected since October 2014.

“We had a really great turnout for this blood drive,” Newman said. “On behalf of myself and the Red Cross, thank you. Blood donation is not always a fun thing to do, but your sacrifice was greatly needed and appreciated.”
