Cowley College and Wellington High School provide night of amazing music

Performing a variety of styles of music, the Cowley College Concert Choir and CC Singers were joined by the Wellington High School choirs for an exciting evening of music Thursday in the Robert Brown Theatre.
Cowley College alumna, Jessica Coldwell led her choirs at Wellington High School, the Wellington Crusader Singers and Wellington Crusader Choir, during Thursday’s performance. While, director of vocal music Lindsay Allen, led the Cowley Concert Choir and CC Singers.
“It was such a fun night with a variety of styles of music sung by talented musicians,” Allen said. “I was absolutely blown away by Wellington's choirs and their director, Jessica Coldwell, is doing an amazing job with the program. It was fantastic to share the stage with them and I would be ecstatic to have any of them join Cowley's vocal music program in the future.”
The CC Singers performed God Bless the Child and Waiting on the World to Change, while the Cowley Concert Choir sang A Jubilant Song, I’m Gonna Sing til the Spirit Moves in My Heart, Sing Me to Heaven, and Viva La Musica!.
The Wellington Crusader Singers performed O Bella Fusa and The Lass from the Low Countree, and the Wellington Crusader Choir sang Ave Maria, Sure On This Shining Night, and Rockin’ Jerusalem.
Cowley Concert Choir members are: Steve Altimirano, Kadie Carrell, Ben Chinn, Abbiah Conrad, Sarah Flickinger, Jacob Giger, Meikalo Hall, Hanah Henry, Isaac Hess, Kamren Holmes, Caden Lantz, Jon Lee, Jacob Michaelis, Jeannie Qualls, Emily Ramsey, Brittany Rosenberg, Matthew Sinnett, and Claudia Sprague.
CC Singers are: Sarah Flickinger, Jacob Giger, Meikalo Hall, Hanah Henry, Caden Lantz, Jon Lee, Jacob Michaelis, Emily Ramsey, Brittany Rosenberg, and Matthew Sinnett.
