Kansas Lieutenant Governor makes pit stop in Ark City

Kansas Lieutenant Governor Lynn Rogers stops to see the Criminal Justice programWith the first day of fall semester classes looming, Kansas Lieutenant Governor Lynn Rogers took time to tour Cowley College’s main campus in Arkansas City on Monday.

Rogers, who was joined on the tour by  former Kansas State Representative Anita Judd-Jenkins, had a chance to view Cowley College’s newly opened Education Center. The tour also consisted of stops to see the college’s Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, Non Destructive Testing, Machine Tool Technology, Automotive, Welding, Visual and Performing Arts, and Natural Science Departments.

The Lieutenant Governor previously toured Cowley College’s Allied Health Center in Winfield as part of his Office of Rural Prosperity Listening Tour in July.
