452.00 VARSITY ATHLETICS

 

The College is a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and of the National Junior College Athletic Association. College athletes are expected to be students first, with their participation in athletics a part of a well-rounded educational experience. Their personal conduct is expected to begin the highest tradition of amateur athletics.

 

1.  Grants-in-aid shall be provided for athletes in accordance with rules as specified by the KJCCC and NJCAA. All grants must be approved by the Athletic Director and the President. Students who accept such grants will be required to abide by specific rules and regulations developed by the Athletic Department and the Jayhawk Conference.
