Institutional Scholarship Application Forms
Cowley College encourages you to apply for all scholarships in which you have an interest and are eligible to receive. Below we have listed links to individual scholarship application forms for the various departmental and activity scholarships we offer to students looking to attend Cowley College.

Cowley College Foundation Scholarship Application Form
The Cowley College Foundation offers a variety of Cowley College Foundation Scholarships with differing requirements for eligibility based upon donor restrictions. Unless otherwise noted, a minimum of a 2.5 GPA is required. Cowley College Foundation Scholarships require students to complete a separate Cowley College Foundation Scholarship Application Form.
Departmental Scholarships
Cowley is offering departmental tuition and book scholarships to a limited number of qualified applicants.
Qualifications:
- Must be a high school senior who will attend Cowley College full-time in the Spring or the Fall semester. (Any prior college course work is subject to transfer requirements of the college.)
Additional requirements by department are listed below. All department scholarships are available for renewal based on satisfactory completion of GPA and department criteria. Complete a Scholarship Application by calling or emailing Lisa Grose in the Scholarship office, 620-441-5294.
Business, Computers and Information Technology Department
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Must have declared a major in Business, Accounting, or related field
- Must become an active member of Cowley Collegiate DECA
- Enroll and attend non-credit DECA course - 1 hour per week
- Attend one of two conferences throughout the year
- Participate in 800% of fundraising activities
- Pay $30 DECA course registration fee

- Must have a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA, and maintain that at Cowley
- Must major in Industrial Technology

Health & Human Services Department
- Must be a full time student (at least 12 hours)
- Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.25
- Must maintain a 3.25 GPA while at Cowley College
- Must have a declared major in Allied Health, EMS, Cosmetology or Criminal Justice.
- Must be a Kansas resident according to criteria determined by the Registrar's Office at CCCC.

Humanities Department
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Must have a 3.25 GPA in high school
- Must take at least two English based courses (writing or literature) over and above any required English composition courses during their academic career at Cowley
- Must submit a two page essay with the application that answers the question "Why do you feel education is important to your future?"

Social Science Department
- Must be seeking an Associate's Degree in a Social Science major and planning to transfer to complete a Bachelor's Degree
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Must actively participate in a club or activity relevant
to major

- Must have a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA, and maintain that at Cowley
- Must major in a math/science related area
- Must become an active member of Math and Science Club (Mu Alpha Sigma Chi)
- Serve on the Natural Science Advisory Council

- Must maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Must meet the requirements specified for a scholarship in art, graphic design, vocal music, instrumental music or theatre.

Summer Scholarship
- Must be current, or new, student on scholarship
- Must be meeting all requirements with current scholarship awarded
- Maximum of 6 credit hours will be awarded for Summer Semester only
- May attend online or on campus classes

Paraprofessional Scholarship
Cowley College is offering a scholarship to Kansas residents who are currently employed as a paraprofessional in any USD in the State of Kansas and are pursuing one of the following programs of study:
- Paraprofessional – Benefit Program (48 cr. Hours)
- Paraprofessional – Associate of Arts
- Secondary or Elementary Education – Associate of Arts
The scholarship covers a maximum of 9 credit hours of tuition per semester and can only be applied to courses within the above programs of study. Courses may be taken online or at one of the Cowley College campuses.
One scholarship is permitted per person per semester and cannot be combined with other Cowley Scholarships.
All student fees, course fees, and textbook costs are the responsibility of the student.
