Notice to International Students

Any employment opportunities for international students on F-1, M-1, or J-1 visas, whether on-campus or off-campus, must be directly approved by the International Student Services Coordinator (ISSC) before acceptance. This is a critical step in the process of receiving work authorization from the United States Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS). Acceptance of any employment without reporting to the ISSC could result in termination of a student’s I-20 and student visa and likely would result in removal from the United States for 5-7 years.
