How to find my office:

Enter the Nelson Student Center using the main entrance located on the south side of the building. On your right (east side) you will see a glass enclosure (201). Go to the north side of the enclosure to enter. There you will find me in office 201A.

Dr. Jason Kegler brings more than 25 years of higher education leadership experience in student affairs, enrollment management, campus operations, and executive administration. As Vice President for Student Affairs, he is committed to fostering a student-centered environment that supports academic achievement, personal growth, engagement, and student success.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kegler has led initiatives focused on enrollment growth and retention, student success, campus safety, behavioral intervention, housing and student life, student conduct, counseling services, and strategic planning. His experience includes developing and implementing enrollment management and student success strategies that strengthen recruitment, persistence, engagement, and completion of outcomes.

Prior to joining Cowley College, Dr. Kegler served in executive leadership roles at colleges, universities, and workforce-focused educational organizations, including Associate Vice President for Student Life at Pittsburg State University and Chief Operating Officer for Medical Education Development & Support. He also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to student development, Dr. Kegler believes in building strong relationships across campus and creating opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to thrive. He possesses an earned Doctor of Education degree and is dedicated to advancing student success through innovation, partnership, and continuous improvement.
