Cowley College ACES Scholarship Offers Tuition Assistance Through Community Service
Cowley College students can earn assistance with tuition and books while building leadership skills and serving their communities through the ACES Scholarship Program.
ACES scholars complete approximately 65 hours of service each semester while participating in campus and community projects that promote leadership, civic engagement, teamwork, and social responsibility.
"ACES is more than a scholarship," said Greg Butler, IMPACT Director. "Students receive financial assistance while gaining valuable leadership experience and learning how they can make a positive impact in their communities."
Students enroll in a one-credit course that connects service experiences with leadership development through reflections, community projects, and partnerships with local organizations. Service opportunities include community events, food assistance programs, youth activities, campus events, and nonprofit partnerships.
No previous leadership or volunteer experience is required.
Benefits of the ACES Scholarship include:
- Tuition and book assistance
- Leadership and professional development
- Community service and resume-building experience
- Connections with local organizations and community leaders
- Skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
Applications for the 2026–2027 ACES Scholarship are due August 10, 2026.
