Cowley College would like to congratulate Director of Student Support Services, Trio-IMPACT’s Roxanna James who was recently inducted into the MO-KAN-NE Hall of Fame.
During the month of April, Cowley College partnered with the Institute of International Education and the US Department of State to host four Humphrey fellows for the Community College Residency Program.

Having graduated from Arkansas City Junior College (now Cowley College) in 1965, January 18, 2024, recently marked the 60th anniversary when Dr. Kermit McMurry set the school record with 30 rebounds against Northeastern Oklahoma College.
In 1971, the estate of Nell Renn donated to Cowley College with a special request - That the money go toward constructing a library named after Nell’s late husband Oscar “Jack”, a former Cowley Instructor and Kansas Legislature.
Trustees took a moment to sign the National Community College Month banner for display in Galle - Johnson before the beginning of the April Board meeting.
