Community members are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting event at Cowley College’s Patrick J. McAtee Dining Center on Thursday, August 24 at 2 pm.

Humanities and communications instructor Deborah Layton was recently awarded a PTK Advisor Award for 10 years of service to the organization.

Carissa Honkomp, Cowley College applications processor, was recently named the recipient of the fall 2023 Tiger Heart Award.

Julie Rhoads was named the Paul Stirnaman Award for Teaching Excellence recipient during an in-service event held Friday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.

Preparing for the start of the fall semester, Cowley College students began moving into the dorms on Saturday during the annual Dorm Storm event.

The Golden Tigers program at Cowley College is gearing up for its fall kick-off, with enrollment dates set for the main campus in Arkansas City and the College’s Sumner Campus in Wellington.

Needing to fill the void left when Cowley College’s previous vice president of academic affairs, Dr. Michelle Schoon, took over as the president of the school, the College believes they have found the right person with the recent hiring of Dr. Rachel Bates.
