Capping a week full of Homecoming activities, Felipe Mentz and Shamahra Henderson were named Cowley College’s Homecoming king and queen during halftime of the Tiger men’s basketball game vs. Independence Community College on Wednesday night at W.S. Scott Auditorium.

For the first time in the program’s history, both Cowley College Quiz Bowl teams have qualified for nationals. The teams accomplished this feat while competing at the sectional tournament held Saturday, January 21, in Overland Park, Kansas.
