The Medical Coding degree from Cowley College can help you prepare for a career in medical coding in the health industry. You can get either an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a Certificate. You'll learn how to use the CPT, HCPCS, and ICD 9/10 coding systems to put together information about diagnosis and treatments for medical billing. You'll also use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases for medical coding. Also, this program can be completed fully online.
