Biomedical engineering careers involve creating technology that helps in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of various medical conditions. Career opportunities can be found in biomanufacturing, disease modeling, drug discovery, medical and pharmaceutical device design, rehabilitative technology and bioinformatics, and regenerative medicine.

The pre-engineering program at Cowley College provides students with a basic core of subjects designed to apply toward an engineering degree. Pre-engineering students are required to take general education courses as well as mathematics and science courses relating directly to engineering.
