Madie's Story

I went to Arkansas City Christian Academy for K-12, and when I graduated there in 2023, I went to Cowley College as a full-time student, already having 22 credits under my belt. Because of the great relationship my high school had with Cowley College, I was able to get a good number of classes taken in a semester and smoothly enrolled, hassle free.

College, your life, and your future is not one-size-fits-all, like your graduation cap is. Choose what you want, choose what makes you happy, and if you don’t know what you want out of life, then you have the rest of it to figure it out.

Biology Transfer pathway

I was able to graduate with an Associates of Science in the Biology Transfer pathway a semester early, and because of the amazing and intelligent staff at Cowley College I will obtain my bachelor’s degree in only three semesters at Friends University.

Cowley College set me up for success, and from all the advice I got from multiple instructors here, I was able to get where I needed to be. I also learned a lot of life things from the conversations I had with them.

Currently I am at Friends University studying Zoo Science and I plan to be a Veterinarian Technician in a zoo.
